I know it's not much but at least everybody can see when the last change to code was committed to our versioning system. It appears as a small bar at the bottom indicating the date, who made the changes, how many files were changed and a link to the change comments.
Trevor and I are always going on about progress being made behind the scenes but the truth of the matter is that progress is transparent. Nobody else besides the programmers is seeing anything change at all.
I thought it would be helpful to provide the actual change notifications as they happen... and thus the code change bar was born!
Anyway, I had some issues having it render properly in IE7 but I managed to get them to a reasonable state. Let me know if anybody is having any trouble viewing the main page with the bar down there.
